Three Blanchards Win the Blanchard

It turns out there were three Blanchards that took the top three spots of the Blanchard regatta's large boat class this weekend: Eleanora, Jim Llewellyn's Solace and Mistral. Both Eleanora and Solace are Blanchard Senior Knockabouts. Mistral, the biggest of the three, was built in the Blanchard yard. All three feature the distinctive Blanchard portlights, rectangular with a rounded top. Just to keep things jumping, we have a picture of the winning boat from the Dragon division. This being a blog and not journalism, the name of the boat and skipper will have to wait. Posted by Picasa
